Medical Illustrator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical illustrators are highly skilled artists.  They work strictly in the medical field and create graphics for textbooks, journals, magazines, and educational films.  Their drawings span a wide range from microorganisms to body parts.
Some medical illustrators prepare illustrations that aid in research about or creation of artificial body parts.  At times, they are called upon to use modeling skills to create artificial body parts, such as ears, and noses, for patients that are deformed or have undergone some surgeries.

Average Salary:  $35,000 - $50,000
Educational Requirements:
Students interested in becoming medical illustrators should take a college preparatory program in high school that emphasizes art and science.
In college they should either major in art and minor in science or major in science and minor in art.  Undergraduate science courses should be the same as those required for medical school.

The majority of medical illustrators have master's degrees in the field from a program that is accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs.
Certification as a medical illustrator requires a graduate degree in medical illustration, a portfolio review, and successful completion of a national examination.

I agree with Thomas because the only way to achieve excellence is by being or doing something excellent. If you do something that is not your best or if you try not to make it excellent then it wont be excellent

Medical Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical assistants help physicians and nurses deliver patient care.  They schedule appointments; take blood pressures, respirations, temperatures; and perform other routine patient pre-examining procedures.  Sometimes they help with office and clerical tasks.  Medical assistants work in hospitals, clinics, and private physician offices.
Average Salary:  $17,000 - $18,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should complete high school with courses in biology, physical science, office management, communications, and human relations, although medical assistant training programs may accept GED certificates.  Medical assistant training programs are provided by community colleges and for-profit technical training schools.  They may take between six months and two years to complete.

I wouldn’t want to be a medical assistant because it doesn’t seem too appealing to me

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) work with and under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.  They care for injured, handicapped, and sick patients.  Their duties include taking temperatures, blood pressures, and pulses. They also give injections, change dressings, and help give patients baths.  In general, they care for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities.  Some practical nurses work in private homes.
Average Salary:  $16,000 - $23,000
Educational Requirements:

Although a high school diploma or GED certificate is not always required, it is encouraged.  LPNs do not have the extensive professional education that is required for a registered nurse.  State approved training programs are offered by the hospitals, vocational schools, junior colleges and private schools.

Paul “Bear” Bryant was born  9/11/1913 in Fordyce, Arkansas and died Fordyce, Arkansas and died January 26, 1983 Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the age of 69. He died after suffering a massive heart attack. He was a college football player and a coach. During his 25-year tenure as Alabama's head coach, he amassed six national championships and thirteen conference championships. Paul Bryant was the 11th of 12 children who were born to Wilson Monroe and Ida Kilgore Bryant in Fordyce, Arkansas. His nickname stemmed from his having agreed to wrestle a captive bear during a theater promotion when he was 13 years old.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Industrial hygienists evaluate health hazards, conduct health risk assessments, manage industrial or business health programs, and provide consultation.  They may be administrators, researchers, consultants or teachers.  Many work as part of an industrial or government team, although some have private practices.  Industrial hygienists often:
Ú Collect samples and perform laboratory analyses.
Ú Check worker exposure to radiation, vibrations, and noise.
Ú Calibrate equipment.
Ú Conduct epidomial research
Ú Instruct employees on injury prevention techniques.
Average Salary:  $40,000 - $60,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take challenging college preparatory courses, especially in mathematics and science, during high school.
A career in industrial hygiene requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in occupational health and safety, environmental health engineering, or the physical sciences.  Many jobs require certification and/or a Master's Degree in these, or related, fields.  Certification requires successful completion of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene examination.

Home health aides usually work for companies that provide in-home assistance to ill, injured, elderly, or disabled customers.  Their duties include taking the blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients. They help patients get in and out of bed, take baths, and dress.  They also make and serve meals as well as perform chores like making beds and cleaning rooms and washing dishes.
Average Salary:
$8,000-$18,000
Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or GED, Some vocational schools or community colleges offer these programs.


I wouldnt want to be a health aide because it doesnt seem appealing to me.

Healthcare administrators direct and manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities.  They are responsible for long-range planning, financial administration, personnel administration, materials management, purchasing, public affairs and patient administration.
Small hospitals may have only one administrator, while larger facilities may have many.  Some administrators specialize in specific fields like patient administration or purchasing.

Most healthcare administrators hold master's degrees in healthcare administration or business administration.

I agree with this person because if your mind is a garden then you can put whatever you want in there. Like it said you can plant flowers (good thoughts) or you can plant weeds (bad thoughts). Its all up to you how you take care and raise your garden.
Histology Specialists
Duties and Responsibilities:
Histologists prepare tissue samples to see if a patient has a disease or a dysfunction. Histologists prepare samples by adding chemical die to see the important structures Histologists work in pharmacies, clinics, or hospitals.
Average Salary:   
$22,000 - $35,000 (Histologic technicians) 
$30,000 - $50,000 (Histologists)
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.
To become a histologic technician, students must either earn an associate's degree in the field and complete a one year internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination.

To become a histologist, students must either earn a bachelor's degree that includes a one year clinical internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination
